My client, a leading supplier of composite components to F1 and motorsport requires an experienced composite trimmer for an urgent project. This is a contract role outside IR35.
Responsibilities:
- Trimming, bonding and assembling carbon fibre components utilizing engineering drawings and build manuals
- Checking information on drawings is clear
- Checking route card instructions are correct
- Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Keep all equipment maintained
- Meet delivery targets for customers while maintaining high quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a composite trimmer/fitter in F1 or motorsport
- Strong background working with pre-preg materials
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to high-quality workmanship
