At Prospa, we’ve spent the last five years developing a high-performing team of e-commerce experts. With 40+ DTC brands in our client base, our mission is to drive growth and profitability for 7 and 8-figure e-commerce brands through creative, profit-focused marketing.

As our first Head of Creative, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our agency. You’ll establish the creative function, develop high-performing processes, and build a team of creatives around you to support our industry leading Paid Social department and deliver standout performance for clients. This is a rare opportunity to create, grow, and lead your own team within a rapidly expanding agency.
Prospa has quickly grown into a team of 30+ based in Manchester and London. We offer hybrid working (2 days from home), a vibrant office culture, and regular team events. We’re looking for an A-player who’s ready to take ownership of our creative output, push performance forward, and work closely with our leadership team to shape the direction of our creative capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership
- Lead creative strategy for paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat & Pinterest).
- Develop concepts, angles, hooks, and formats based on performance insight to drive best practices.
- Shape creative testing plans alongside our Head of Paid Social and team.
- Oversee quality of all creative output; UGC, static ads, video edits, concepts and iterations.
- Build the Creative Function
- Establish the creative department from scratch, including team structure, roles, and hiring roadmap - this is your opportunity to build your own team.
- Create processes for briefing, production, editing, approvals, and delivery.
- Build scalable creative systems; asset libraries, testing matrices, naming conventions, etc.
- Execution & Direction
- Work closely with editors, designers, creators, and copywriters to guide production.
- Provide clear feedback, direction, and creative leadership across all projects.
- Lead brainstorms and creative workshops to generate fresh ideas.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Paid Social to align creative execution with performance goals.
- Interpret ad performance data and recommend creative improvements.
- Collaborate with account managers to maintain brand alignment and client satisfaction.
- Client Communication
- Develop and present creative strategies and rationale on client calls.
- Turn brand insights, customer research, and positioning into actionable creative plans.
Skills & Experience
- Core Experience
- 5+ years in a creative leadership role within a DTC/eCommerce, paid social, or digital marketing environment.
- Proven track record of producing high-performing ads for Meta, TikTok, and similar paid social platforms.
- Experience scaling creative output through structured systems, workflows, and processes.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and how creative influences CAC, AOV, ROAS, CTR, thumb-stop ratio and other KPIs.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Experience building, managing, or mentoring creative teams - ideally including editors, designers, and content creators.
- Ability to give clear creative direction, structured feedback, and maintain a high creative standard.
- Comfortable owning the entire creative function from strategy to execution.
- Creative & Technical Skills
- Ability to concept ideas quickly, script compelling UGC ads, and guide creators effectively.
- Strong visual and storytelling instincts - understanding what grabs attention and drives conversions.
- Understanding of modern content styles, UGC formats, hooks, angles, and short-form video trends.
- Comfortable using industry-standard tools (Motion, Air, Adobe Suite, CapCut, Figma).
- Operational Skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- Experience implementing delivery workflows, briefing systems, and creative processes.
- Analytical mindset - able to interpret performance data to inform creative decision-making.
