2841 – OT Cyber Security Architects / Solution Architects (x2)

We’re seeking two experienced Architects to support the design, delivery and implementation of a major Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Programme.

Working across multiple workstreams, you will help shape architecture strategy, produce technical designs and provide governance and assurance throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage planning through to operational readiness and service transition.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Solution, Infrastructure, Security or OT Architects looking to contribute to a business-critical cyber and technology transformation programme within a complex, highly regulated environment.

  • What you’ll do
  • You will be involved in a broad range of architecture and delivery activities, including:
  • Supporting project definition, planning and business case development
  • Developing target-state architectures and solution designs
  • Producing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
  • Providing solution architecture leadership and technical assurance
  • Designing and reviewing security, network and infrastructure architectures
  • Engaging with technology vendors and third-party partners
  • Participating in Technical Design Authority (TDA) and governance forums
  • Supporting implementation, integration and technical validation activities
  • Contributing to test planning, architectural assurance and design reviews
  • Supporting operational readiness and transition into BAU support
  • Managing stakeholders across business, technology and supplier teams
  • Supporting project closure and handover activities
  • What to bring

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Infrastructure Architecture, particularly within on-premises environments
  • Operational Technology (OT) Architecture
  • OT Cyber Security Architecture and secure network segmentation within industrial environments
  • Security controls, cyber security frameworks and compliance requirements within regulated environments
  • Technical governance, architecture assurance and design review processes
  • Experience producing and reviewing HLDs and LLDs
  • Experience working within utilities, energy, manufacturing, industrial or other critical infrastructure environments
  • Broad technical knowledge with the ability to quickly understand complex technology landscapes
  • Eligibility for, or current, BS7858 security vetting

  • SC Security Clearance
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Microsoft management technologies including SCCM and SCOM
  • Linux platforms and administration
  • SCADA and industrial control systems
  • Cyber Ark
  • HPE infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage and networking
  • Cisco networking technologies
  • Check Point firewall technologies

You are a collaborative and experienced Architect with strong technical expertise and stakeholder management skills.

You are comfortable operating across strategy, design, governance and delivery activities, and have experience working within complex environments where security, resilience and operational continuity are fundamental.
