We are looking to bring in a hands-on Lean Six Sigma Consultant to support a series of process improvement initiatives. This is a delivery-focused role where you'll be working closely with operational teams to identify inefficiencies, lead improvement activity, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Location: One of these locations as suits - Glasgow, Perth or Aberdeen (Hybrid working)

Contract Type: Contract

What you'll do:

  • Leading DMAIC-based improvement activity across key processes
  • Facilitating workshops and problem-solving sessions with stakeholders
  • Conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues
  • Mapping current and future state processes (AS-IS / TO-BE)
  • Identifying waste and inefficiencies across operations
  • Using data to produce insight-driven recommendations
  • Supporting implementation of improvements and tracking outcomes
  • Establishing measures and controls to ensure sustainability of change

What to bring:

  • Proven experience in Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement roles
  • Green Belt (minimum) or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrable delivery of DMAIC projects end-to-end
  • Strong analytical capability (Excel as a minimum; Power BI or Minitab desirable)
  • Experience in process mapping and operational improvement
  • Confident facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders
  • Able to work independently in a contract environment and deliver at pace
