The Role
You will help shape and define future data initiatives by working across business and technical teams to understand requirements, opportunities, constraints and strategic objectives.
What's Important
This role requires someone who can shape and define the right investments, not simply deliver against an existing plan. We're looking for expertise in business case development, initiative prioritisation, stakeholder engagement and value realisation within complex data-driven programmes.
What you’ll do
Engaging stakeholders across the business to understand data and information management needs, opportunities and challengesTranslating priority business initiatives into structured investment papers aligned to the wider Data Driven programmeAssessing and prioritising initiatives based on strategic alignment, business value, operational benefits, feasibility, risks and dependenciesSupporting programme leadership with the development of detailed initiatives for future funding and investment decisionsBuilding strong relationships with senior business leaders, technical specialists and delivery teamsBringing clarity and structure to a complex and evolving programme landscape

You’ll ideally bring:
Significant experience scoping and defining data and information management programmesExperience within major data, analytics, digital or technology-enabled business change programmesA proven track record of translating strategic objectives into prioritised initiatives and investment proposalsStrong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with confidence operating at both executive and technical levelsExperience assessing business value, benefits, dependencies, risks and delivery readinessBackground working within asset-intensive or large capital delivery environments would be highly advantageousBusiness Architect (Data)Senior Data or Digital Consultant
