My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Service Manager. This role is the main point of contact for customers experiencing issues with CNC machinery, you will provide guidance and support and prepare accurate quotations for spares and machine repair. An ideal opportunity to move from an engineering shop floor role into a support and client-driven position.

The Job:
- A desk-based position, suitable for an engineer wanting to move away from the shop floor.
- Respond to technical enquiries, provide support on troubleshooting machine faults.
- Lead and support a team of service engineers, offering technical guidance.
- Work closely with engineering, software, and production teams.
- Manage the service schedule and coordinate with customers and internal team to coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for spares, service, and upgrades.
- Strong communicator, confident to deliver first class customer service.
About you:
- Proven experience within CNC builds and application of grinding and milling machines.
- Strong technical knowledge of machine tools and controls.
- Previous experience within customer support and looking for the next step in your career.
- Understanding of the ability to learn MRP systems.
- Time served engineer within a mechanical discipline.
