We are looking for a driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and help us improve the way we manufacture high-quality products.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer, who enjoys problem solving, process improvement and turning ideas into practical solutions.
The Role Working closely with production, quality, design and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste and deliver consistent quality.
You will take ownership of engineering improvements from identifying an opportunity through to implementation on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities Develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes and production methods.
Identify and implement improvements to quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity.
Investigate production issues and provide effective root-cause solutions.
Create and maintain work instructions, process documents, and manufacturing standards.
Support new product introductions (NPI), process validation, and production launch activities.
Work with production teams to improve equipment, tooling, layouts, and workflows.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives including waste reduction and process optimization.
Ensure manufacturing processes meet relevant quality safety and regulatory requirements.
Specify and manage cutting tools, fixture, and assembly equipment.
About you Qualified in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering or related disciplines.
Experience within a production engineering environment.
Comfortable working with production data and engineering documentation Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement A strong communicator who can work effectively across different teams Experience within a CNC or tooling environment would be an advantage.
Knowledge of CAD Cam software Whats on offer.
