My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Stores/FLT Driver What’s on offer: * Working on days with an early finish on Fridays! * £28k neg * Great company team and culture * Excellent pension scheme and life assurance * Free onsite parking * Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: * Manage the stores department with a busy Goods in/Out area. * Update MRP systems and organise all storage. * Update inventory and stock level and consult with production department. * Collect all waste on site from the manufacturing area and remove. * Assist with shipping documents for good to be collected by courier. * Weight and measure all components for despatch and communicate with relevant departments. * Comfortable using hand tools to make storages boxes for items to be transported. * About you: * Experience of working in a busy goods in/out department, ideally within manufacturing * MUST have exeperience of working MRP systems * Possess good computer skills and confident with shipping documents * Good written skills with the ability to consult with other departments. * Valid FLT licence and competent using hand/pallet truck. * Excellent organisational skills and the need to maintain a tidy environment. * Ability to work on your own initiative and manage the stores area daily.
