My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a PLC Controls Engineer. What’s on offer: * Working on days, finish a lunch on Friday!! * Up to £55k negotiable * Great company team and culture * Excellent pension scheme and life assurance * Free onsite parking * Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: * Create and develop PLC and NC using Siemens and Fanuc software. * Lead software commissioning of new machines and in-house refurbs. * Provide remote and face to face technical support for Siemens and Fanuc controls. * Maintain documentation for commissioning checklists, alarm lists, safety control etc. * Lead Software Commissioning and make PLC modifications for CNC conversion. * Provide technical support to multi-discipline team including electrical design and procurement. * Confident to work with multi-axis CNC rotor milling and grinding machinery. * Travel to customer facilities both in the UK and overseas. * About you: * Minimum 5 years’ experience working as PLC Controls Engineer or similar. * Good understanding of CNC machinery and writing PLC, HM/SCADA applications * Experience of Siemens or Fanuc controls * Good technical knowledge of machine tools including electric and process. * Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly manner * Initiative-taking an…
