- Cover production needs regarding engineering issues and breakdowns.
- Conduct routine test and inspection of electrical systems and portable appliances.
- Undertake maintenance activities in compliance with ISO and customer specifications.
- Reduce maintenance costs where possible and us PPM to reduce unplanned maintenance.
- Work as part of the group maintenance team covering four sites.
- Assist Engineering Manager with ongoing and new projects.
- Ability to participate in mechanical maintenance work as and when necessary.
- Work as part of a team and optimise company performance and reduce downtime where possible. About You
- An experienced electrical maintenance engineer with a mechanical aptitude
- Experience of panel building and installation work
- Confident and the ability to be part of an out of hours rota for on call maintenance.
- PLC literate, with the competency to complete PPM schedules
- Experience of fix wire testing and instrumentation
- Prepared to be part of the on-call team 1 week in every seven weeks.
