My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter. Whatβs on offer: * Working pattern 4 days Monday β Thursday! * Overtime available * Great company team and culture * Excellent pension scheme and life assurance * Free onsite parking * Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: * Build sub-assemblies from component level following schematics. * Work to tight tolerances (-10 microns) * Working on complex machine builds * Maintenance of refurb of heavy machinery * Working experience of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage. * Confident with bearings, gears, and machine alignment About you: * Mechanical trained with the ability to build a component from start to finish. * Experience of multi axis precision machinery * Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. * Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items. * Good all-round mechanical assembler with a confident understanding of machine tools This role offers a fantastic opportunity, working with a niche precision engineering company that is highly respected throughout the world.
