Engineering Supervisor

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Team Leader. You will support the Manufacturing Director and will be responsible for planning the flow of work. What’s on offer: * Working pattern 4 days Monday – Thursday! * 45k Neg * Great company team and culture * Excellent pension scheme and life assurance * Free onsite parking * Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: * Manage and motivate a team of electrical and mechanical trades personnel. * Prepare production schedules and allocate resources for machine builds. * Support your department, ensuring timely provision and resources to meet schedules. * Consult with suppliers and maintain stock inventory. * Maintain ERP system and produce reports on component build process. * Manage staff attendance, holidays, reviews, and performance. * Ensure safety regulations and procedures are maintained. About you: * Must have experience within a supervisory capacity. * Experience of manufacturing special purpose machinery * Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. * Confidence and the ability to motivate, support and train employees. * Experienced in project and resource management. * Strong engineering background This is a brand-new role, working with a niche precision engineering company.
