My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Assembly Fitter. This role is part of a multi skilled team responsible for key aspects of electrical work on bespoke machine builds.

What’s on offer:

The Job:

  • Panel wiring, electrical assembly and testing new machine builds.
  • Build panels and wire machine, following schematic drawings.
  • Electrical diagnostics and fault finding efficiently and with accuracy.
  • Assist with onsite machine installation and troubleshoot minor electrical issues.
  • Support team projects and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers.
  • Confident panel building with machine wiring experience.

About you:

  • Proven experience with machine panel wiring and building.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machine tools and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
  • Experience within a component manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to travel to overseas sites up to 4 times per year if necessary.
  • Time served electrician with strong panel building skills and experience.
