The Job
- Set and Edit programmes using Fanuc controls.
- Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable.
- Must be able to read an interpret engineering drawings.
- Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniques
- Confident CNC Miller or CNC turning
- Training and progression offered
About you
- Experience of working within a metal cutting environment producing precision parts to tight tolerances
- Experience of operating, setting up and editing of Milling Machines
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
- Experience of CNC milling machines. Tooling and set-ups would be a distinct advantage.
- Flexible to work rotating day shifts.
- willing to work overtime as and when required
