My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a CAD/CAM Programmer. This role is suitable for an engineer who thrives on process improvement and design and relishes the opportunity to travel overseas to support clients.
What’s on offer:

The Job:
- Use skills within turning or milling to enhance quality and build of high precision components.
- Write stage processes for component build.
- Write programmes with CAD and identify tooling requirements.
- Support sales with BOM’s.
- Familiarity with Fanuc machine controls.
- Drive optimisation and production processes.
- Working on CAM fusion software.
About you:
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to travel overseas when required.
- Experience of the metal cutting industry and precision components.
- Ability to diagnose problems and deliver practical engineering solutions.
- Experience of machine controls, preferably Fanuc.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Confidence to produce stage drawings for manufacturing process implementations.
