My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a CAD/CAM Programmer. This role is suitable for an engineer who thrives on process improvement and design and relishes the opportunity to travel overseas to support clients.

What’s on offer:

The Job:

  • Use skills within turning or milling to enhance quality and build of high precision components.
  • Write stage processes for component build.
  • Write programmes with CAD and identify tooling requirements.
  • Support sales with BOM’s.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc machine controls.
  • Drive optimisation and production processes.
  • Working on CAM fusion software.

About you:

  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to travel overseas when required.
  • Experience of the metal cutting industry and precision components.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and deliver practical engineering solutions.
  • Experience of machine controls, preferably Fanuc.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Confidence to produce stage drawings for manufacturing process implementations.
