Proskauer is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the London office as the Legal Recruiting Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, assisting with all aspects of the team’s work. An exciting opportunity for a Legal Recruiting Assistant to support the legal recruiting efforts for associates, paralegals, and trainees in the London Office.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with recruitment agencies, partners and legal secretaries to coordinate candidate interviews
- Collating interview feedback and preparing approval to offer paperwork
- Assisting in maintaining filing for candidate documentation in line with the Firm’s GDPR guidelines
- Tracking the life cycle of candidates for reporting purposes
- Assisting the Manager of Legal Recruitment with all stages of the trainee life cycle; induction, seat moves, mid and end of seat reviews and qualification process
- Developing strong working relationships with partners, associates, trainee and paralegals; escalating any issues as appropriate
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Administrative experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Ability to easily shift priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of Firm personnel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook; basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Must be flexible, results oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to effectively prioritize competing demands on time and attention
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require).
