Proserve Logistics Limited is an expanding warehouse and transport company located on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional logistics services across various sectors, including food and heavy products.
HGV Class 1 Driver required. You will move mainly full trailer loads of palletised goods from several sites on Wrexham Industrial Estate to various locations in North Wales and North Midlands. There may be the occasional night out. The vacancies are Monday - Friday with start times generally between 05:00/07:00 and finish between 16:00/18:00. You will be paid a guaranteed 10 hours per day plus overtime. Permanent, 5 days a week. Overtime paid on hours over the full contracted 50 hours per week. Additional overtime available for holiday cover.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 curtain side trucks safely and efficiently
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV license with a good driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with curtain side trucks
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in delivery driving is a plus
- Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
