The Rental Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the effective delivery of I&C rental operations, ensuring services are provided safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. The role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end rental activities, acting as the key point of contact for customers and internal teams, and supporting the achievement of business, revenue, and margin objectives. By promoting operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement, the Rental Coordinator contributes directly to the ongoing growth and performance of the I&C rental product line.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the efficient day-to-day operation of the I&C rental product line, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Act as the primary focal point for all I&C rental activities, working closely with I&C Administration and Workshop teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Champion excellence in customer satisfaction, ensuring a high-quality service experience throughout the rental lifecycle.
  • Liaise directly with customers to manage enquiries, resolve issues, and address any concerns arising during the execution of works.
  • Monitor performance and support the implementation of appropriate measures to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor, support, and provide guidance to members of the I&C administration and operations teams.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for growth and supporting initiatives that contribute to the ongoing development of the I&C rental business.
  • Ensure documentation, processes, and communications are completed accurately and in line with company procedures and business objectives.

Essential Qualifications / Skills & Experience

  • Working knowledge of pressure testing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of flushing equipment.
  • Demonstrable product knowledge within an I&C or rental-based environment.
  • Proficient in the use of PC systems and standard business applications.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership and accountability for departmental outputs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage a high and varied workload, adapting effectively to changing priorities.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong focus on service delivery.

Preferred

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship, relevant training, or extensive proven experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in a supervisory or coordination role.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
