What You Need To Know
We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Sales & Business Development Manager to lead growth across our portfolio, focusing on decommissioning, intervention, and late‑life asset support. This role is instrumental in identifying opportunities, engaging clients from enquiry to delivery, and shaping tailored technical and commercial solutions. You’ll manage the full sales cycle, contribute to strategic planning, and support marketing initiatives, exhibitions, and CRM/S&OP processes. The role also involves supporting tendering, proposal development, and expanding Proserv’s presence with operators, service companies, and technology partners.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead client engagement from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring tailored technical and commercial solutions are aligned with customer needs
- Prepare and deliver quotations, presentations, proposals, and technical demonstrations to support business growth
- Identify and qualify opportunities in decommissioning, intervention, and late‑life asset support, building a robust opportunity pipeline
- Support tendering activities and project documentation, including oversight of the IWOCS tendering process to ensure alignment across sales, strategy, and commercial teams
- Collaborate with internal teams and product centres to integrate technologies and deliver complete project solutions
- Provide product training and technical support to clients, including occasional overseas travel to support regional services
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, exhibitions, advertising, and editorial content to promote Proserv’s capabilities
- Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring opportunity tracking supports demand forecasting and capacity planning
- Participate in S&OP meetings, providing input on new opportunities, bid awards, and quarterly budget reviews
- Monitor and report on key sales performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and commercial targets
- Develop working knowledge of industry regulations, project drivers, and market trends to support strategic conversations and opportunity development
- Actively grow and nurture relationships with existing clients
Qualifications / Skills & Experience
Required:
- Product and system experience in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of IWOCS control systems design and function
- Knowledge and experience within decommissioning
- Sales and business development experience within the sector
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent report writing, communication and Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience maintaining CRM systems
- A proactive and driven approach to building global business revenue streams
Ideally you will also have:
- Experience in an engineering or senior engineering role within the subsea workover controls market
- An engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Electro‑mechanical disciplines
- Experience working with Microsoft D365
