We’re currently seeking a Vice President to join our growing team.
The Vice President (VP) plays a lead role on their accounts, with key responsibilities included below.
They are expected to not only demonstrate exceptional media relations skills, but also manage multiple projects and people.
Additionally, as a leader and ambassador for the agency, the VP should mentor and inspire their junior team members and peers.
At Prosek, all team members are expected to be strong team players participating in brainstorms and creative strategy planning for clients and internal projects alike.

- What you'll be doing
- Demonstrate ability to create and present multi‑dimensional strategic media relations campaigns and results to clients
- Use your media contacts to secure effective/impactful media results, conduct media training sessions and participate in media interviews with clients
- Guide and help improve media relations skills of junior employees
- Serve as a senior strategic counselor and a senior day‑to‑day client contact for a client portfolio
- Take a supporting role in responding to crisis management situations
- Demonstrate an expert understanding of the PR craft and your client's business, business plan, industry and the competitive environment
- Demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for the financial operations of Prosek as an agency; understand the business model and dynamics that affect profitability
- Oversee all written materials created by the account team that are presented to clients and the media
- Craft compelling new business and client presentations and mentor junior staff in all aspects of writing
- Create and present compelling presentations while demonstrating the ability to clearly and confidently present in front of internal and external teams
- Serve as a speaker/panelist at industry forums and other gatherings of potential new business prospects
- Be an inspirational mentor and senior counselor to your staff
- Manage and staff account teams ensuring that the team gets performance feedback and that all members feel recognised and rewarded
- Help senior managers and practice leaders execute employer career training, development and advancement
- What makes you qualified
- 10-12 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
- Strategic Communications experience (preferably in an agency) in one or more of the following sectors: financial services, professional services, technology, and/or B2B communications
