Role Overview
As Account Director, you will be a senior point of contact for a global client, leading the management and execution of campaigns and projects, along with managing key agency stakeholder relationships. You will line-manage an Account Manager, and support the wider business on financial and ad-hoc projects.
Mission & Key Responsibilities
- Lead client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention across multiple channels
- Oversee campaign and project delivery, ensuring best practice and production excellence
- Support the team with complex projects and escalated delivery issues
- Present and lead client presentations, offering strategic counsel and guidance
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow the account and improve ways of working
- Ensure accurate forecasting and resource planning
- Manage and develop direct reports, providing training and support
- Track and reconcile projects and campaigns, ensuring profitability and timely delivery
- Estimate and invoice projects accurately, managing third-party costs
- Collaborate with the Global VP to monitor client revenue and business growth
- Integrate AI-based project management and collaboration tools to improve planning, resource allocation, risk assessment, and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard
- Leverage AI-enabled analytics and client management platforms to deliver actionable insights, personalise client solutions, and enhance the overall client experience
- Drive adoption of new client management tools and platforms
Skills & Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience in client services within a creative, production or marketing business
- Experience line-managing junior team members
- Strategic campaign and project planning
- Decision-making and problem-solving
- Excellent relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Team management and professional development
- Mac/Apple OS, Office suite, Excel (P&L management)
- Experience with multi-market or global accounts
- Experience working with creative and media partners is a plus
