Overview of the Regional Vice President of Travel Sales for PROS. Reports to the General Manager, EMEA. Lead a high-performing, consultative sales team and develop a personal portfolio of customers through account-based strategies across the region in the travel industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of seasoned sales representatives and cross-functional subject-matter experts to win new accounts, including recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Coach and drive all resources through the PROS sales process; establish and maintain performance standards; provide ongoing feedback and formal evaluations as per company guidelines.
  • Apply a disciplined approach to prospecting, opportunity identification, forecasting, demand generation, and opportunity management in a complex sales environment.
  • Collaborate with the partner ecosystem to create value for all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Product Management to maximize sales volume, product mix, and margin.
  • Prepare and execute annual business plans aligned with company objectives; manage activities to support the plan.
  • Develop key end-customer relationships to create opportunity, maintain loyalty, and improve overall sale quality.
  • Implement and drive account and related business strategies with management teams.

Required Qualifications – About you:

  • 10 years of successful sales management experience in software for retail, pricing, and shopping SaaS within airlines.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Additional education or experience in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, or a technical business discipline is a plus.
  • Proven SaaS sales leadership experience; self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of building and sustaining executive client relationships; strong pipeline development and cold-calling experience.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication; ability to manage across teams and time zones.
  • Global mindset with willingness to travel 50–75%.

Highly Preferred:

  • AI Literacy: Understanding core AI concepts, terminology, and practical applications; uses AI tools ethically to improve productivity and decision-making.
  • Prompt Engineering: Ability to craft clear, structured prompts to optimize AI outputs.
  • Agentic AI: Knowledge of autonomous agents and how to integrate them into business processes.
