The Manager of Strategic Consulting leads a highly experienced team responsible for educating prospects on how best-in-class companies are growing their revenues. The team has responsibility for all aspects of the pre-sales process and guides our prospects from initial solution design through a decision to purchase. Team goals include using a challenger sale methodology to bring business insight to prospects, gaining trusted advisor status among key influencers and decision makers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance PROS sales initiatives.
About the role:
- Coaching team members on how to lead organizations through a buying process.
- Developing a point of view on best practices in revenue management, pricing, availability, shopping, and merchandising solutions for the airline space; and training strategic consultants, sales executives, and sales support on how to communicate this vision to prospects.
- Ensuring effective cross-functional efforts among the broader Travel go-to-market team, including members of professional services, marketing, demand generation, and sales.
- Collaborating on the go-to-market plan and pipeline projections for the Travel vertical.
- Hiring, building, and incenting high-performing teams.
About you:
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; including presenting to the C-Suite level.
- Ability to direct, motivate, and develop highly experienced team members.
- 4 years strongly preferred, 2 years minimum required experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Team leadership in pre-sales consulting in the enterprise software space for a complex software or application provider.
- Team leadership in pre-sales consulting in any of the following areas: revenue management, pricing, availability, shopping, and merchandising solutions for the airline space.
- Team leadership in pre-sales consulting focused on NDC and One Order IATA initiatives, Reservation and Global Distribution Systems (GDS), ATPCO fare rules, dynamic pricing, availability management, merchandising, and ancillary revenue practices.
