Mechanical Project Manager for Pro Rite Ltd, a well-established M&E and building services company with a reputation within the Building Services Industry by delivering Design, Installation and Maintenance Services to both public and private sector markets.

About the Role

Candidate will be responsible for the management of the full project life cycle from start-up, through delivery, to project completion.

Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed limits for time, cost and quality.

The majority of projects are based in within; Essex, in & around the M25 and the Home Counties.

From time to time you will also be required to travel further afield to cover projects across the South of England.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient & effective in Microsoft Suite, One Drive & Software Tools
  • Responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects
  • Create and execute plans and work breakdowns/revisions as appropriate
  • Lead project meetings with clients, suppliers, and 3rd parties
  • Communicate regular project updates internally and to clients
  • Negotiate both internally and externally to resolve project risks and issues
  • Manage project scope and change control
  • Produce bill of quants & procurement trackers
  • Track expenditure and budgets
  • Produce and maintain project initiation and management documents
  • Provide consistent and reliable resourcing requirement
  • Manage operative and labour resources with other management staff
  • Manage and maintain H&S standards
  • Prepared to be hands on when required to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Carry out full handover to client on project completion.

Qualifications

  • Relevant & advantageous qualifications are beneficial – ie Degree level Mechanical Engineering / Management, APM qualifications, LVL7/6 NVQ Senior Construction Management, Prince2, SMSTS, Commercial Gas / FGAS, CSCS Card
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the full project life cycle and project management
  • Educational & Commercial Sector specific experience
  • Experience working on a variety of Mechanical projects
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a similar role
