Due to ongoing growth and strong demand from our partners, we are looking to expand our team with a skilled and reliable Qualified Electrician. We pride ourselves on professionalism, safety, and delivering an exceptional standard of service for both tenants and landlords. Role Overview

This role involves carrying out a wide range of electrical work across domestic rental properties throughout Glasgow and the surrounding area. You will be responsible for ensuring properties remain compliant, safe, and maintained to the highest standards. You should be comfortable working in occupied homes, communicating respectfully with tenants, and representing the Homesafe brand to letting agents and landlords.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)
  • Completing remedial works following inspections
  • Carrying out general electrical maintenance & fault finding
  • Responding to emergency callouts for letting agents and landlords
  • Installing and replacing consumer units, sockets, lighting, and other domestic electrical components
  • Ensuring all work meets current 18th Edition regulations
  • Providing accurate documentation and clear job reports
  • Working independently and managing your own workload
  • Interacting professionally with tenants, landlords, and property managers

Requirements

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Experience working within domestic properties
  • Strong knowledge of BS 7671 regulations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience carrying out EICRs
  • Background working with landlords, letting agents, or housing associations
  • Testing & Inspection 2391 (or equivalent)
