ProRec are looking for Class 1 Day or Night drivers, and Tramper Drivers in the Bridgwater area! TEMP or TEMP TO PERM = IMMEDIATE STARTS and LTD AND SELF EMPLOYED ACCEPTED.
ProRec is working with a Haulage company delivering to customers across the UK. Our clients are recruiting heavily for HGV Class 1 day, night or Tramper Drivers and we can offer ADHOC, Temp or contract. Paying some of the best rates in the industry. THIS ROLE IS AN ONGOING HGV 1 Tramper role.
What does the role involve?
As HGV 1 Tramper Driver, you will be working in a safety critical role and be responsible for delivering to a schedule and working to timescales. You will be required to maintain good care of your vehicle, ensure all loads are secured, perform daily safety checks, and keep transport documents and paperwork updated.
Working Hours and Pay
- Monday to Friday Day Drivers - Tanker work
- Monday to Friday Night Drivers - Tanker work
- Monday to Friday/Saturday Tramping shift pattern - General Haulage
- Sunday to Thursday/Friday Tramping shift pattern - General Haulage
Pay for days and Tramping (Plus £25 per night out tax-free) via Umbrella or LTD = £20.00 PER HOUR (LTD or Self-Employed accepted) OR PAYE Pay is £16.34 including holiday pay.
Pay for Nights via Umbrella or LTD = £21.00 PER HOUR (LTD or Self-Employed accepted) OR PAYE Pay is £18.72 including holiday pay.
The successful candidate will require:
- Valid Class 1 licence for 12 months minimum
- Valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on your licence (for insurance purposes)
- Tramper experience preferably
