We are recruiting now with assessments open every day for AM & PM drivers! We are hiring now for agency drivers to work with our client for 2026. For drivers that complete this period, full-time positions will be available.

Our client is looking to bolster their driver pool by 15-20 full-time drivers. You will be required to complete a HGV Class 1 Driver Assessment and Site Induction prior to starting with this client. You will be guaranteed a permanent position discussion after this temporary period.
Pay Details:
- £227.29 day rate PAYE with holiday allowance included
- £270.48 night rate with holiday allowance included
- £267.00 umbrella PAYE day rate
- £317.75 umbrella PAYE night rate
- Weekly pay every Friday
Shift Patterns Available:
- 5 on 3 off
- 4 on 4 off
- Full-time hours
- Adhoc hours
- Weekends
- Temp to perm potential
What do you need to have as an HGV Class 1 Driver for this role?
- Must hold an LGV Class 1 C+E License (3-6 months minimum)
- Some Class 1 commercial experience
- Driver CPC
- Sound knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
- Must have experience driving articulated vehicles (newly passed drivers are accepted subject to enhanced assessment)
- Must be committed to providing excellent customer service
- Reliable and flexible (start times are not fixed)
- Honest and trustworthy
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out daily vehicle checks as per company works instructions
- Deliveries at customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures
- Off-loading at sites, involving some manual handling in accordance with site operating instructions
- Long haul HGV driving; drivers may be required to night out
- Working at controlled DC sites
- Flexible in driving other types of vehicles as required
- Comply with road transport and tachograph regulations
- Meet driver performance standards
- Manual work, moving cages and unloading your trailer
