BAM Site Solutions are looking for an experienced Depot Manager based in Kilsyth. You will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of the depot, ensuring the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of BAM Site Solutions products and services.
The role is accountable for depot operations, asset management, customer service, people leadership and financial performance, ensuring that all activities are delivered in line with BAM Site Solutions' operational, commercial and strategic objectives. There may be a requirement to work at any other BAM location as required.
Making PossibleLead depot operations to ensure safe, efficient and effective service delivery. Oversee hire, service, logistics, maintenance and refurbishment activities to required standards. Monitor performance and drive improvements in productivity, efficiency and service quality. Maintain facilities, equipment and assets. Support business continuity through effective planning. Ensure operational processes align with BAM standards. Maximise utilisation, availability and ROI of assets. Maintain, inspect and prepare assets to quality standards. Work with Product Managers to optimise fleet performance. Monitor stock, asset movements and inventory accuracy. Support fleet planning and investment decisions. Manage depot P&L, budgets, forecasts and expenditure. Drive utilisation, revenue growth and operational efficiency. Support work-winning and customer retention. Identify improvements, cost reductions and savings. Embed commercial awareness across the team. Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team. Set objectives aligned to business goals. Conduct reviews, development planning and succession. Promote engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion. Ensure appropriate staffing and capability. Foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Champion a positive safety culture. Ensure compliance with policies, legislation and regulations.
