We are recruiting a
Planner to join our building team in East Meath.
- Making Possible
- Project planning using Primavera P6, MS Project or Asta.
- Project progress measuring & monitoring.
- Project progress reporting.
- Coordinate schedules with site management, design teams & contractors.
- Understand & maintain the contract programme.
- Subcontractor progress monitoring.
- Develop & monitor KPI’s.
- Measure quantities from drawings to generate progress reports.
- Assist with integration of programmes into BIM models (4d planning).
- To provide strategic advice for safeguarding, and growth and development.
- To work as part of a team, including through the flexible allocation of work as it arises.

What do you bring to the role?
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Ideal candidate will have 2+ years previous planning experience.
- Proven experience in a planning role in the building construction industry (main contractor experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and lead times.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Ability to take a multi-disciplined approach to building projects.
- Be technically oriented and fully conversant in drawings, specs., BOQs, critical path programming, network analysis, etc.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a fully integrated team is essential.
- Detail oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Proactive and solution focused approach.
- Full driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland and fluent English.
