Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor – Major Infrastructure Consultancy

Shape the commercial success of the UK's most complex infrastructure projects.

At Pro QS, we're a specialist commercial and planning consultancy providing high-quality advice to clients across the UK's major infrastructure and construction sectors.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced industry professionals, supporting clients on high-value programmes across highways, rail, nuclear, energy, utilities and data centres.

You'll enjoy genuine responsibility, direct client engagement and the variety that comes with consultancy work, rather than being tied to a single project.

The role

Reporting directly to our Directors, you'll manage multiple commissions, providing commercial leadership and trusted advice to our clients. Responsibilities will include:

  • Commercial management of projects from inception through to final account.
  • NEC3, NEC4 and JCT contract administration.
  • Measurement from drawings, preparation and pricing of Bills of Quantities.
  • Cost management, change control, reporting and commercial advice.
  • Supporting procurement, tendering and contract administration.
  • Working with client teams using CEMAR and Fast Draft.

About you

You'll be degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent), ideally MRICS or actively working towards chartership, with around 10–15 years' experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.

You'll have excellent commercial judgement, strong written and numerical skills, be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and be confident managing client relationships and multiple commissions simultaneously.

Why Pro QS?

We're building a consultancy known for technical excellence, professionalism and trusted client relationships.

You'll work on nationally significant projects, enjoy a competitive remuneration package, flexible working (subject to project requirements), and become part of a supportive, collaborative team where your expertise is recognised and your contribution genuinely shapes our future.

If you're looking for your next challenge in a growing consultancy where quality comes before bureaucracy, we'd love to hear from you
