I\’m working on behalf of a long-standing multidisciplinary consultancy that’s looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) to join their team in Warrington.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Due to the size of the business, they’re best suited to a well-rounded QS who can adapt across different responsibilities and support the full project lifecycle.
You’ll be involved in a broad mix of traditional Quantity Surveying duties, with a particular focus on accurate measurement, preparation of Bills of Quantities and schedules of work. The team is close-knit, so being dependable and able to manage your own workload is key.
There’s also the opportunity to take on instructions in areas such as Contract Administration, Employer’s Agent and Project Management. This isn’t about moving formally into those job titles, but rather supporting on those duties as part of a broader QS role.
For those interested in progression, there is a clear path to step into a senior leadership role in the years ahead, including the potential to become Head of Quantity Surveying. That said, if you prefer to focus on project delivery without the added responsibility of management, that’s absolutely fine. The business supports both approaches.

- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)
- Minimum 5 years’ post-grad experience, ideally within private practice
- Strong technical background in measurement and documentation
