I’m looking for experienced and confident consultants with experience in working on EIA projects to support an established team in London, part of a wider planning consultancy. This is an independent consultancy that has a fantastic sense of recognition for hard work and a rewarding culture, whilst also valuing work-life balance.
You will be expected to:
- Support the successful delivery of Environmental Planning and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects, working closely with senior colleagues.
- Prepare and contribute to EIA Screening and Scoping Reports, as well as wider environmental assessments and technical reports.
- Coordinate EIA projects, managing technical inputs from multidisciplinary teams and ensuring timely delivery to quality standards.
- Assist with bid preparation, fee proposals, tenders, and ongoing business development activities.
- Manage project finances, including budget tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Analyse complex environmental data, interpret relevant legislation and policy, and ensure compliance with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear, well-informed advice to clients, stakeholders, and planning authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing across disciplines.
You’d be joining an environment where you get to know everybody in the office and collaborate with other disciplines within the company; planning, socio-economics, development and more. They enjoy work get-togethers, attending industry networking and awards and even hosting their own events. On top of this, they like to support one another at regular sporting tournaments, golf days, industry triathlons to name a few. Being an employee here also gets you an automatic invitation on their fully paid yearly company holiday.
If this sounds like somewhere you can see yourself working, let’s chat more in terms of the type of projects and what your day to day could potentially look like here!
