Senior Town Planner or Associate Planner in Edinburgh

I’m looking for an Associate Town or EIA Planner to join an established, national team for an independent planning consultancy that have a highly regarded reputation and presence in the Renewable Energy industry due to an increase in a successful project pipeline. Renewable energy is not all they do, there’s an opportunity to get involved with retail, residential, industrial, commercial and other projects. You would be joining.a friendly, close-knit and non-corporate environment that has no red tape in terms of progression, autonomy with projects or processes. The Edinburgh team are lead by a highly experienced and impressive leader who has a great network of clients and contacts within the market who is extremely personable and is a highly commended line manager. What I’m looking for: A self sufficient Planner with between 7-10 years experience, ideally in Renewable Energy or EIA. Experience in either the Scottish or English planning systems - both is even better. A self starter, team player - this is a ‘no-ego’ team. Confidence and experience or keen to get involved with business development. Willingness to line manage a Junior Planner.
