PropSource Consulting has partnered with a specialist infrastructure consultancy in Central London that is continuing to grow its Consents Advisory team. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner and Principal Planner to work across some of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects.
Why consider it?
- A major attraction is the opportunity to work directly alongside one of the strongest and most experienced hands-on leadership teams in the UK DCO market.
- These are senior leaders who remain heavily involved in project delivery, client advice and consenting strategy, providing an excellent environment for someone who wants to develop their major projects expertise rather than simply sit within a large delivery team.
- The consultancy advises across energy, water, transport and digital infrastructure, working throughout the project lifecycle from early consenting strategy through to examination and delivery.
Who are they looking for?
- Planning experience is preferred, but they are open-minded on background where someone has strong major infrastructure consenting experience.
- DCO experience is highly desirable, although it is not an absolute requirement. They will consider people who have worked on other complex major projects and consenting regimes.
You will ideally bring experience in:
- Major infrastructure planning and consenting
- Project and multidisciplinary team management
- Client and stakeholder engagement
- Developing consenting strategies
- DCOs and/or other major consenting routes
At Principal level, there will also be greater responsibility for client relationships, mentoring and business development.
Why join?
- Outstanding hands-on DCO leadership team
- Major UK infrastructure projects
- Genuine opportunity to deepen your DCO/major consents experience
- Boutique, growing consultancy environment
- Flexible hybrid working
