We've partnered with a long-standing client on a senior growth hire within their established Economics team. Our client is an independent, multidisciplinary planning consultancy with a strong reputation across the industry. They are now looking for someone to help deliver and further shape their Economics offering.
The ideal hire is likely to be an experienced Associate Director with a strong background in socioeconomics. That said, Director-level candidates with a strong commercial track record will also be considered. The brief is deliberately broader than a traditional socioeconomics role. We are also interested in speaking with people who combine this experience with business cases, economic strategy and wider strategic advisory work.
The work could include:
- Socioeconomic and economic impact assessments
- Business cases and strategic advisory work
- Economic strategy and research
- Health, equalities and social value assessments
- EIA, major development and infrastructure projects (DCO-related work)
At Associate Director level, you will have the opportunity to influence project delivery, team development and strategic decisions within the department. At Director level, there is greater scope to develop new revenue streams, broaden the team's capabilities and help shape its future growth.
We are looking for someone with strong technical credibility, leadership ability and commercial awareness. Experience of DCO/NSIP work would be valuable but it isn’t a prerequisite for the role.
Why consider it?
- Genuine growth hire
- Established Economics team with scope to shape its future
- Strong, collaborative culture
- Clear progression opportunities
- Flexible working with two days from home
- Opportunity to influence the future direction of the department
All applications and conversations will be treated in complete confidence.
