Role: Principal or Associate Policy Planner
Salary: Up to 59k plus bonus
As a result of a growing project pipeline and increased workload, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal or Associate Policy Planner to join a leading employee owned consultancy specialising in planning, ecology, and environmental consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the preparation of planning policy documents and local plan work
- Provide strategic planning advice to a range of public and private sector clients
- Contribute to evidence base studies and planning policy development
- Manage client relationships and support project delivery
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across planning, ecology and environment
- Contribute to business development and proposal preparation where required
The Right Kind of Person
- Strong background in planning policy, strategic planning, or local plan preparation
- Experience within either consultancy or Local Planning Authority environments
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- MRTPI qualified
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
