I'm currently partnering with a leading UK planning and development consultancy seeking an ambitious Planning Director to join its established Cambridge team. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of a highly successful planning practice, delivering projects across a broad range of sectors including residential, education, healthcare, commercial, energy and mixed-use development.
The Role
- Lead the delivery of major planning projects from inception through to determination.
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.
- Support the growth of the business through networking and business development activities.
- Provide expert planning advice on a variety of development opportunities.
- Manage, mentor and develop members of the planning team.
- Help shape the strategic direction of the office and wider planning business.

- MRTPI qualified with significant planning consultancy experience.
- Strong understanding of planning policy and development management.
- A successful track record of securing and delivering projects.
- Commercially minded with experience generating new business opportunities.
