My award-winning client is looking for an Assistant Planner to join their established team in Leeds. You will be working on a wide range of projects including regeneration, housing developments, renewable energy, commercial, industrial and more. If you are somebody who is on the RTPI-APC pathway, a recent graduate or have 6-12 months experience in Planning Consultancy or with a Local Authority, then this could be the perfect next step in your career. This role is based in Leeds City Centre with the option of flexible working.
You will have a positive, hard-working attitude and a good understanding of the UK planning system. Also, you must hold a degree or higher in Town Planning or a related field.
Key responsibilities:
- Support on the delivery of projects
- Attend meetings with clients and local planning authorities
- Submit and monitor planning applications
- Assist with planning appeals
- Analyse and research policies, preparing representations to local plans and policies
