Props Charity is a unique and much loved charity dedicated to developing work and social skills for adults with learning disabilities, creating employment pathways and promoting a supportive and inclusive community. Our mission is to empower individuals through creative and practical work experiences, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence. With a fantastic legacy to build on, we have reached an exciting stage in our development and we are currently going through a process to become a part of the Bristol Charities Group to support our ambitions to scale up our operations, grow our reach, and enhance our impact.

The Hospitality Manager is responsible for the overall management and development of Props Bristol’s café provision, including our onsite Bakery’s, Crafted Café and the Cafe at the Vassall Centre. This role ensures the cafes operate as high-quality, sustainable social enterprises, delivering excellent customer service, quality food and drink, and strong financial and operational performance.

A core element of the role is supported employment. The Hospitality Manager will create, oversee, and deliver meaningful work-based opportunities for Trainees and employees with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence. This includes providing on-the-job training, structured support, and progression opportunities, enabling individuals to develop skills, confidence and pathways towards employment.

This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing commercial business management with inclusive, person-centred support that strives to make a real difference within the community in breaking down barriers to employment for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.
