We're partnering with a successful and growing business in Redditch to recruit a Senior Buyer who will take ownership of supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, and purchasing activities across a varied product portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys autonomy, building supplier partnerships, and driving tangible results.

Salary and Benefits:

  • GBP 38,000 - GBP 42,000 depending on experience
  • 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating the best commercial agreements
  • Identifying cost‑saving opportunities and delivering value across the supply base
  • Sourcing new products and suppliers to support business growth
  • Monitoring market trends, pricing, and supply risks
  • Working closely with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure stock availability and continuity of supply
  • Driving supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Procurement role
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and analysing purchasing data
  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • CIPS qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous
