Senior Solutions Architect in England

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in securing and shaping complex, high value enterprise deals at this large systems integrator. Operating at the front end of large deals, you will be responsible for defining the technical direction, assuring solution quality and supporting successful deal outcomes across major Modern Workplace managed and professional services opportunities. This is a senior pre-sales and deal shaping role, working alongside commercial leaders and delivery teams to design solutions that are both compelling for clients and practical to deliver at scale.

What will you be doing as Senior Solutions Architect?

• Acting as the senior technical authority for large scale Modern Workplace deal pursuits - typically high value, long term engagements.
• Translating client business objectives into clear technical strategies and solution roadmaps.
• Partnering closely with senior commercial leads to shape deal strategy and win bids.
• Engaging directly with senior client stakeholders to articulate Modern Workplace vision, value and outcomes.
• Leading the design of end-to-end Modern Workplace solutions covering end user computing, service desk, collaboration platforms, automation, AI enabled support and cloud-based desktop services.
• Ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, commercially viable and aligned to delivery capability.
• Acting as a senior technical voice in both client and C-level conversations, internal forums and selected industry events.
• Providing architectural oversight, assurance and risk management throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
• Working with delivery teams to validate transition approaches, operating models and service design.
• Supporting pricing, cost modelling and commercial governance alongside finance and legal teams.
• Contributing to the evolution of Modern Workplace offerings, methods and reusable assets.

Who do we need as our Senior Solutions Architect?

We are looking for an experienced Modern Workplace architect or technical leader who is comfortable operating at executive level and has a strong background in shaping enterprise scale managed services solutions. You will bring:

• Extensive experience in Modern Workplace, end user computing and collaboration architecture.
• A proven track record of contributing to or leading large, complex managed services deals.
• Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, modern endpoint management, virtual desktop platforms, digital employee experience tools, automation and cloud technologies.
• A solid understanding of managed service commercial models, including service levels, staffing, cost structures and governance.
• The ability to balance innovation with operational realism and commercial discipline.
• Confidence working across matrixed, global teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

Formal qualifications or certifications in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks are beneficial but not essential.
