We’re partnering with a high-performing, commercially focused business based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit an FP&A Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking finance team where you’ll play a key role in driving insight, performance, and strategic decision-making. This FP&A Analyst role would suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys getting under the skin of the numbers and influencing stakeholders across the business.
The Role: As FP&A Analyst, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis and supporting the business with forward-looking insight. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Delivering insightful financial analysis on performance, trends, and key drivers
- Building and enhancing financial models to support decision-making
- Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to provide commercial insight
- Supporting month-end reporting with variance analysis and commentary
- Driving continuous improvement across FP&A processes and reporting
About You: You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience. Strong FP&A or commercial finance experience. Confident communicator, able to influence and challenge stakeholders. Advanced Excel skills (experience with modelling highly desirable). Proactive, inquisitive and commercially aware mindset.
