Assistant Facilities Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team in Stratford, East London. This full–time position offers a salary of GBP40,000 to GBP45,000, with working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

What will you be doing as Assistant Facilities Manager?

Supporting the day–to–day management of the property alongside the Facilities and Health & Safety Manager

Conducting daily inspections of common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety

Coordinating minor technical and mechanical work, and maintaining compliance reports

Working with maintenance teams to manage inventory and order supplies

Assisting with Health & Safety inductions for contractors and overseeing service requests documentation

Monitoring grounds, common areas, and amenities to maintain high standards

Responding to customer inquiries and managing maintenance–related complaints

Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, KPIs, and health & safety standards

What experience are we looking for in an Assistant Facilities Manager?

Facilities Management experience in a residential or hospitality context

Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CAFM systems)

Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC and maintenance procedures

Proven ability to maintain high cleanliness and service standards

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage budgets effectively
