PropRec are pleased to be working with this leading Global AV systems integrator, supporting the delivery of innovative technology solutions that enable seamless collaboration and connected workplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in the architecture, design, planning and implementation of integrated audio, video and control systems.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation in accordance with established technical standards.
- Create detailed CAD drawings, including signal flow diagrams, floor plans, elevations and technical bills of materials (BOMs).
- Research, evaluate and specify appropriate AV hardware and software solutions.
- Design integrated AV systems that meet client requirements while adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project delivery teams throughout implementation to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide technical support during project delivery, commissioning and handover where required.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Audio Visual Design Engineer role (preferred).
- Previous experience within professional AV installation and service environment.
- Strong knowledge of AV control systems, including Crestron, QSC, Extron and AMX.
- Experience with DSP platforms such as Biamp, QSC, ClearOne.
- Proficient in producing and interpreting single-line diagrams, architectural, construction and electrical drawings.
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to design technically robust and cost-effective solutions.
- Strong understanding of engineering schematics and the ability to clearly communicate design intent to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- CTS or CTS-D certification is desirable but not essential. Additional manufacturer certifications (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC or Shure) would be advantageous.
