Are you a successful IT sales professional with experience selling technology solutions into the Financial Services sector? We're looking for a driven and commercially minded New Business Sales Executive to join a high-performing sales team focused exclusively on the Financial Services, Banking and Insurance market. This is a pure new business role where you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and winning opportunities across a broad portfolio of IT products, managed services, professional services and consulting solutions.

You’ll work with some of the UK’s most recognised financial institutions, helping customers solve business challenges through innovative technology solutions whilst building a profitable and sustainable sales pipeline.

What will you be doing:

  • Identifying, engaging and winning new customers across the Financial Services, Banking and Insurance sectors
  • Developing strategic account and territory plans to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers within target organisations
  • Selling a portfolio of IT products, professional services, managed services and consulting solutions
  • Creating and qualifying new opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, marketing campaigns and industry engagement
  • Leading sales campaigns and coordinating internal teams to deliver winning customer propositions
  • Working closely with technical specialists and solution architects to develop customer-focused solutions
  • Managing opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through to contract award
  • Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast
  • Developing a strong understanding of market trends, regulatory drivers and technology challenges impacting Financial Services organisations
  • Building relationships with technology partners and vendors to maximise opportunities and drive growth

Experience Required:

  • Proven track record of winning new business within the IT industry
  • Experience selling technology solutions specifically into Financial Services, Banking, Insurance or wider Financial Services organisations
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, managed services, professional services, consulting services or workplace solutions
  • Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at executive and board level
  • Demonstrable success in delivering new business revenue growth and achieving sales targets
  • Ability to develop and execute effective territory and account plans
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building capabilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive and highly driven to succeed
  • Experience selling into enterprise-scale organisations would be advantageous
