Technical Project Manager – Live Event Technology (Lighting, Audio or Video) Hybrid (available after 6 months – 3 days in office, 2 days remote). We provide an initial on-site period to ensure full immersion in our processes, team culture, and delivery standards before transitioning to hybrid working.
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (core hours). Live events operate 24/7, and occasional out-of-hours work will be required to support project delivery.
You are a technically skilled, solutions-driven project leader who thrives in the energy of live events. You balance creativity with commercial awareness and take pride in delivering high-quality results while maintaining strong client relationships.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be the technical driving force behind our live event projects. You won’t simply manage timelines—you will help shape client ideas into fully engineered technical solutions, then lead the delivery on-site to bring those experiences to life.
Working across lighting, audio, and video systems, you will ensure seamless integration of technologies across a wide range of high-profile events, upholding our commitment to creativity, passion, and technical excellence. You will take ownership of projects from initial brief through to final delivery, acting as the key technical lead throughout.
- Build strong relationships with clients through clear, confident communication (both in-person and remotely).
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative and technically robust responses to briefs.
- Lead and motivate technical teams across multiple concurrent projects.
- Oversee on-site delivery, coordinating lighting, audio, and video departments.
- Manage logistics, budgets, and resource planning across projects.
Requirements:
- Strong professional experience in live event production or technical project delivery.
- Deep expertise in one core discipline: lighting, audio, or video.
- Strong understanding of system design and on-site implementation.
- Experience producing technical drawings and documentation (AutoCAD proficiency desirable).
- Familiarity with rental management and event planning software.
- Confidence managing budgets, logistics, and commercial aspects of projects.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly advantageous.
