Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client, who are a successful and growing international organisation based in Birmingham, are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team. You will be actively supporting a range of central business functions with overhead reporting and working closely with stakeholders across the business. You will receive a salary of £40k to £55k, depending on experience plus a broad flexible benefits scheme and hybrid working. Hours are: 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. As the Financial Reporting Accountant, your duties will include: Supporting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, with a particular focus on overheads. Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and completing balance sheet and other financial reconciliations. Investigating variances, anomalies and discrepancies, getting to the root cause and ensuring issues are resolved. Working closely with central functions and business stakeholders, including Property, to provide insight and support decision-making. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, profitability and variance analysis across areas of responsibility.
