See what you can do with Prophix

Finance teams across 100+ countries use Prophix One™ to replace manual processes with intelligent planning, reporting, and automation.

We are a globally connected team with deep UK roots and we are growing.

If you are looking for a role where your work reaches customers across industries and borders, and where the people around you are invested in doing great work, this is worth reading.

We have teams and offices across the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia.

Trusted by more than 3,000 finance teams across 100+ countries, Prophix One™ is built for organisations that want to plan smarter and move faster.

As a Senior Account Executive at Prophix, you will own and grow a defined territory of Core Mid-Market organisations, driving new business and expanding relationships within our existing customer base.

You will work closely with inside sales, pre-sales, and professional services teams to move deals from first conversation to close — bringing Prophix's Corporate Performance Management platform to finance leaders who are ready to work smarter.

Your impact is direct: more organisations empowered by better financial intelligence, and a stronger Prophix presence across the UK market.

What You Will Do

  • Own the full sales cycle in your territory — from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to negotiation and close — with a focus on Core Mid-Market accounts
  • Drive net-new pipeline through a disciplined mix of outbound prospecting, cold outreach, business network activation, and vendor selection competitions
  • Partner with a dedicated inside sales resource to maximise territory coverage, lead flow, and market penetration
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and professional services teams during active sales cycles to deliver compelling, technically credible evaluations
  • Cross-sell Prophix's product portfolio to existing customers, identifying expansion opportunities that deliver additional value to their finance function
  • Articulate Prophix's differentiators clearly and confidently against competing CPM, BI, and ERP solutions — staying sharp on the competitive landscape
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation, from operational users to C-suite decision-makers
  • Manage your territory with rigour — maintaining accurate pipeline data, forecasting reliably, and applying qualification frameworks such as MEDDICC/MEDDPICC throughout every deal
  • What You Will Bring

We hire for potential as much as experience.

If this role excites you but you don’t check every box, we still want to hear from you.

At Prophix, people who ask good questions, adapt quickly, and bring a fresh perspective often make the biggest impact.

  • Required Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of field sales experience, including software sales in Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management (CPM), and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) — or strong CPM domain knowledge combined with a clear drive to move into a field sales role
  • Demonstrated ability to apply structured qualification frameworks, specifically MEDDICC or MEDDPICC, across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a territory-based, full-cycle sales role
  • Skilled at navigating and selling across multiple levels of an organisation — including technical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Strong ability to deliver persuasive presentations, handle objections confidently, and identify and access economic decision-makers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to represent Prophix professionally across a wide spectrum of customer interactions
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, and data review
  • Able to learn new tools and adapt as technology and workflows evolve.
  • Curious, open to new approaches, and motivated to continuously improve.
  • Collaborative mindset when working across teams and with AI supported tooling.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and territory tracking
  • History of successful activity-based, conceptual telephone selling and structured territory or account development
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review — and openness to adopting new tools as they evolve
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to partner effectively across internal teams and with technology-supported workflows
  • Curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset — always looking for smarter ways to engage prospects and grow a territory
  • What Success Looks Like
  • 30 days: You know our platform, our customers, and how your team operates. You’ve completed onboarding and are contributing to live work.
  • 90 days: You’re working independently, owning deliverables end to end, and building relationships across functions and regions.
  • 6 months: Your fingerprints are on something real. You’ve improved a process, shipped something meaningful, or earned a seat at the table on a decision that matters.
