JOB DESCRIPTION
Our ideal candidate is a multifaceted individual. They should be a big thinker who can bring new ideas to the table and a great designer with a natural flare. We'd expect an excellent standard of execution from any Senior Designer in our ranks. They will be expected to translate brand strategy into powerful and purposeful creative concepts. As such they need to be fluent in 'brand' and comfortable with 'strategy' conversations, not just graphic design. In addition to this we'd really like an ideas person, an experimenter, someone who likes to use their brain to develop concepts and tackle tricky problems. As part of this they should understand how process contributes to different kinds of outcome, how the user experience is a consideration of the design process, and how their work impacts people in the real world. Studio culture is critical to us. We want a creative who is a proactive self-starter, articulate, pragmatic and reliable. Someone who is happy to have their 'comfort zone' pushed, to challenge our thinking and motivated to positively impact our studio environment and creative team members across the globe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in partnership with Strategic and Account team to understand and manage client needs
- Ability to understand and contribute to creative strategy
- Produce outstanding omni-channel design solutions
- Work with vendors and outside specialty resources
- Contribute to studio culture, inspire others
- Comfortable and confident interfacing with clients for presentations and project management
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years' experience in a relevant design team
- Advanced skills in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, XD (nice to have; AfterEffects, Sketch, InVision)
- Degree level experience in Graphic Design
- A deep understanding of typography, design elements and principles, and best practices across print and digital
- Solid verbal and written presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Basic understanding of UX and UI design
- Strong creative problem-solving skills
- Successfully manages time, process, and workflow
- Deep understanding of print processes and creative production
