The Senior Pharmacovigilance (PV) Manager, Case Processing, oversees PV staff and activities, ensuring workflow, processes, and procedures align with internal standards, SOPs, global regulations, client contracts, and safety management plans. This role involves leading and coordinating PV services, enhancing customer experience, and acting as an oversight manager for PV clients.
Key Duties
- Provide strategic PV oversight as a subject matter expert, improving client service.
- Manage workload effectively, provide performance feedback, and conduct annual reviews; adjust resources proactively.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate staff for optimal performance.
- Make decisions aligned with company policies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Lead staffing strategies, including recruitment, training, and development of competency frameworks. Drive process improvements, refine SOPs, and streamline workflows. Act as a trusted advisor in client engagements, ensuring successful implementation and communication. Achieve target utilization metrics through expert case processing and quality control. Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as needed, including billable work such as case processing, QC, and assisting with inbox management.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills with timely resolution capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Advanced knowledge of Pharmacovigilance and PV systems (e.g., Oracle Argus, ARISg).
- Bachelor\โs degree or higher.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in people management.
